Every time I hear someone here in Oklahoma poke at Arnold, governor of California, I can't help but point out that it's nearly always the Assembly and not Schwarzenegger who's responsible for the moronics taking place in California. Namely the bankruptcy.

Now, I love Michael Jackson's music and his death was a terrible shame, as was the media criticism of him without looking too terribly deep.

However...

Spending money California doesn't have to hold a memorial service for him, using taxpayer dollars, is utter lunacy.

They said 'It's factored into the budget'.

How in the name of all that is holy do they do that?

Do they say 'Let's put money aside in case people with families become unemployed, if they're one of the (Three million and counting) people who Obama's policies have thus far put into the hole'?

No. It's 'Let's put some money aside in case a major celebrity dies and we need to throw a funeral for them'.

Might I add that ABC cancelled the special they were going to do, informing people of the pros (Namely more money for the bureaucracy to spend unwisely) and the cons (Namely enslaving every damn household in America and burdening with even more debt) of Cap & Trade so they could show the memorial service.

I'm sorry, but that's just stupid...

At any rate, here's my main gripe...

---A war of words developed between Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and lawmakers over the fruit-related focus of three new bills.---

--- “The governor is not against condiments. The governor’s not against fruits of any kind,” said spokesman Aaron McLear. “But he believes we ought to be focused on solving our budget crisis first and foremost.”---

Why, he’s actually making sense here! How dare he? Why this sudden focus on budgets when vital fruit bills await debate and passing? It’s not like the state of California is facing bankruptcy or anything. Oh, wait… So what do these vitally vital fruit bills contain?

---Assembly bill 606 creates a commission to serve the marketing interests of the blueberry industry. Another bill defines “honey” to mean the natural food product resulting from the harvest of nectar by honey bees, and a third bill adopts regulations establishing definitions and standards for 100-percent pomegranate juice.---

Good lord... what's next? A bill appointing a commission to set down guidelines for the proper curvature of bananas!

---Senate Majority Leader Dean Florez (D-Fresno) called Governor Schwarzenegger’s criticism “childish” and said he is fed up.---

---“The governor’s turned from an action hero into just another politician,” Senator Florez said. “He should really, really take a course on fundamental government on how the legislature works.”---

Which, according to career parasit-err, politicians like Florez, is sitting down, studiously ignoring any real, pressing problems needing immediate attention and instead waste enormous amounts of time and tax money debating useless bills addressing nothing at all except for particular concerns of a few campaign donors that the incumbent idiots need in order to hold on to their sinecure seats.

So let's get this straight...

Demanding to oversee fruit bills first and foremost rather than focusing on the important issue of BANKRUPTCY is childish, but bitching about wanting to look at things and take responsibility is mature?

Do I even need to comment on this?

Hmm, have you ever heard of this Republican member that's from Tennessee?[link] . He assassinated his political opponent Tommy Burks who was considered one of the most conservative Democratic members, and Looper assassinated him just so that he can get his state senator seat of Tennessee o_o

Can you please, *PLEASE* not post political stuff on my profile?

Save that for journals.

As for that, I never said all Republicans are good and all Democrats are bad. I'm Independent, for the last damn time.

If You Get 7 Back You Are Loved!

1-3 you're a bad friend
4-6 you're an ok friend
7-9 you're a good friend
10-& Up you're a great friend

***********

I will add my own note here, I don't think much of these silly chain letters, but at the same time I don't want someone to see it and think 'hey, he got that, why didn't he send it to me?' So I'm only doing this to show that I do care period. How much you want to read into that is up to you. Needless to say, if I could I'd send this to everyone I'm watching or is watching me, but that would take hours. So don't read too much more into this than I do care about you and all those I watch or who watch me. I am grateful.

Came across your page on a fluke. Journal entries were an interesting read. Myself, I view Obama as well meaning but misguided(a common running theme in country leaders). I think he's just going to promise the world and be ultimately crippled by his own ambition like so many others. Change indeed...
